Mayak Eggs
AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami SeasoningIngredients
- 6 pieces Egg
- 1 Tbsp Rock salt
- 1 Tbsp White vinegar
- 1/2 cup Soy sauce
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 1/2 piece Onion, diced
- 1 Tbsp Green onion
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 pack AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
- 2 pieces Chili pepper, diced
- 1 Tbsp Sesame seeds, toasted
Procedure
- BOIL. In a pot of boiling water, add rock salt and white vinegar before adding the eggs. Boil for 7 minutes. Cool then set aside.
- MIX. Make the marinade by mixing soy sauce, water, honey, onion, green onion, garlic, and AJI-NO-MOTO®, chili pepper, and toasted sesame seeds.
- MARINATE. Add the peeled eggs into the marinade. Marinate for 6 hours to overnight.
- SERVE. Serve on top of cooked rice. Enjoy!

Cool eggs by immediately transferring into a bowl with water and ice.
