AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning

Ingredients

  • 6 pieces Egg
  • 1 Tbsp Rock salt
  • 1 Tbsp White vinegar
Marinade:
  • 1/2 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1/2 piece Onion, diced
  • 1 Tbsp Green onion
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 pack AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
  • 2 pieces Chili pepper, diced
  • 1 Tbsp Sesame seeds, toasted

Procedure

  1. BOIL. In a pot of boiling water, add rock salt and white vinegar before adding the eggs. Boil for 7 minutes. Cool then set aside.
  2. MIX. Make the marinade by mixing soy sauce, water, honey, onion, green onion, garlic, and AJI-NO-MOTO®, chili pepper, and toasted sesame seeds.
  3. MARINATE. Add the peeled eggs into the marinade. Marinate for 6 hours to overnight.
  4. SERVE. Serve on top of cooked rice. Enjoy!

Cooking Tips

Cool eggs by immediately transferring into a bowl with water and ice.
