Bangus Steak

SARSAYA® Oyster Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsps. (20ml) Cooking oil
  • 1 whole (400g) Bangus, medium sliced
  • 2 Tbsps. (30g) Red onions, sliced
  • 2 tsps. (10g) Garlic, minced
  • 5 packs (150g) Sarsaya® Oyster Sauce
  • 4 Tbsps. (60ml) Soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. (1g) Pepper, ground
  • 5 pcs. (30ml) Calamansi, juiced

Procedure

  1. FRY. In a pan, heat oil. Fry bangus until brown on all sides. Set aside.
  2. SAUTE. In the same pan, saute onion and garlic. Add fried bangus.
  3. SEASON. Add Sarsaya® Oyster Sauce, soy sauce and pepper.
  4. SIMMER. Add water and calamansi juice and simmer for 5 minutes. Turn off heat.
  5. SERVE. Serve with hot rice and enjoy.

Cooking Tips

Do not over boil/simmer the sauce when calamansi is added to avoid bitter after taste.
