Mixed Seafood with Ensaladang Bulaklak ng Kalabasa

AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning

Ingredients

For Mixed Seafood
  • 1/2 kg (500 g) Shrimp, cleaned
  • 1/4 kg (250 g) Tahong, cleaned
  • 1/4 kg (250 g) Clam (Halaan), cleaned
  • 1/2 kg (500 g) Squid, cleaned, sliced
  • 1/2 cup (120 g) Red Onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup (40 g) Cilantro, chopped
  • 1 pack (10 g) AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
  • 1 bunch (400 g) Banana Leaf, cleaned
For Ensalada
  • 3 cups (99 g) Bulaklak ng Kalabasa, blanced
  • 3 pcs (135 g) Salted Egg, sliced
  • 2 cups (500 g) Tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup (45 g) White Onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp (1 g) Ground Pepper

Procedure

  1. MIX. In a large mixing bowl combine shrimp. tahong, halaan, squid, red onion, cilantro and ginger. Then add AJI-NO-MOTO®. Mix well.
  2. WRAP. Using rectangular at least 12 inches by 8 inches size of banana leaf, get atleast 1/2 cup of the mixed seafood and place in the center of the leaf, fold in one side, then the other side, then pull in the long ends, and fasten them at the top of the packet with a toothpick. You should produce a square or a rectangular package. Repeat the process for all the mixture.
  3. GRILL. Using a grill pan, place the wrap mixed seafood and grill each sides for 7 minutes. Remove from the griller pan then set aside.
  4. TOSS. To make the ensalada, In a bowl, add bulaklak ng kalabasa, salted egg, white onion, tomatoes, white onion and pepper. Mix well.
  5. SERVE. In a serving platter place the cooked mixed seafood together with the ensaladang bulaklak. Serve and enjoy.
