AJI-GINISA® Flavor Seasoning Mix

Ingredients

  • 8 pieces Vigan longganisa, removed from casing
  • 1/2 cup Mung beans, boiled
  • 2 cups Papaya, unripe, grated
  • 1 pack of 8g AJI-GINISA® Flavor Seasoning Mix
  • 5 pieces Lumpia wrapper
  • 5 pieces Egg, medium
  • 1 Tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 2 cups Cooking oil
Dipping Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp White sugar
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 piece Onion, minced
  • 1/2 tsp Iodized salt
  • 1/4 tsp Ground pepper

Procedure

  1. COOK. Mash and cook longganisa on a pan until golden brown. Set aside.
  2. MIX. In a bowl, mix mung beans, grated papaya, and AJI-GINISA®. Set aside. On a separate bowl, make a dipping sauce by mixing vinegar, garlic, onion, sugar, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  3. ASSEMBLE. On a lumpia wrapper, assemble the filling by topping it with mixed vegetables and longganisa. Create a crater on the middle before adding the egg. Fold the wrapper in half and seal it with water and cornstarch mixture.
  4. DEEP-FRY. Heat oil in a pan then deep-fry until golden brown.
  5. SERVE. Transfer to a plate with vinegar dip on the side. Enjoy!

Cooking Tips

Use 2 layers of lumpia wrapper to prevent the wrap from breaking easily.
