Garlic Pork in Oyster Sauce

SARSAYA® Oyster Sauce

Ingredients

Grilled Pork:
  • 0.4 kilo (400g) Pork lomo, strips
  • 1 pack (30g) SARSAYA® Oyster Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. (15ml) Soy sauce
  • 2 tsps. (10ml) Vinegar
  • 2 tsps. (10g) Brown sugar
  • 4 Tbsps. (40g) Garlic, minced
Seasoned Bean Sprouts:
  • 3 cups (300g) Toge, washed and blanched
  • 1 cup (100g) Carrot, strips
  • 1/3 cup (50g) Green bell pepper, strips
  • 1 Tbsp. (10g) Garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. (15ml) Soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. (2.5g) White sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. (2.5g) Salt, iodized
  • 1 Tbsp. (15ml) Sesame oil
  • 2 Tbsps. (6g) Spring onion, chopped (optional)

Procedure

  1. MARINATE. In a bowl, combine pork, SARSAYA® Oyster Sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, and garlic. Mix well and marinate for at least 30 minutes, ideally overnight.
  2. GRILL. In a griller pan, grill each pork piece until browned. Set aside.
  3. MIX. In a bowl, combine toge, carrot, bell pepper, garlic, soy sauce, salt, and sesame oil. Mix well.
  4. SERVE. Transfer the grilled pork to a plate. Serve with seasoned bean sprouts then top with spring onion (optional).

Cooking Tips

To blanch toge or bean sprouts, cook them in a pot of boiling water for 1 minute. Drain then place in an ice bath to stop the cooking therefore it will maintain its crunchiness.
