Omelette:
  • 6 pcs. (300g) Eggs, beaten
  • pinch (0.8g) Salt, iodized

Procedure

  1. SIMMER. In a saucepot, add in soy sauce, sugar, milk, SARSAYA®, ketchup, and worcestershire sauce. Simmer and mix well until incorporated.
  2. SAUTE. Heat oil in a wok, saute ground beef until browned. Add white onions, carrots and leeks. Cook until carrots are soft then add rice and mix well. Add 2 Tbsps. of omurice sauce on the fried rice and mix until incorporated.
  3. MOLD. Place fried rice onto a plate and mold into a football shape.
  4. WHISK. In a bowl, whisk egg and salt.
  5. SCRAMBLE. In a non-stick pan, heat oil. Add egg mixture and vigorously mix with chopsticks or rubber spatula. Once egg has set at the bottom and runny on top, lower heat and fold bottom side to form a football like shape. Then flip the omellette to seal the bottom.
  6. ASSEMBLE. Place the omelette over the rice.
  7. SERVE. Slice the omelette and pour over the Omurice Sauce. Enjoy!

Cooking Tips

Chopsticks are essential for quickly stirring the omelette to the right consistency. Let it set on the outside and quickly flip or roll it in the pan to seal it so the outside remains firm but the inside part is creamy.
