GARLIC FRIED RICE

A leftover batch from the night before straight from the fridge would be perfect for this recipe. Start off by heating your pan and add in your cooked rice. Here’s a classic favorite that is sure to pump you up for the day ahead— Longsilog! You may use any longganisa, depende sa taste mo. Sweet, garlicky, smoky—panalo ‘yan lahat! Try to make this easy breakfast recipe at home for the family!

Start by making garlic fried rice with AJI-SHIO® Garlic Seasoning Mix . Set your fried rice aside while we fry up our eggs and longganisa. Boil your longganisa in a pan and wait for the water to dry up and let the longganisa continue cooking in its own fat. Once it’s cooked, take it out of the pan, and fry your eggs. Time to assemble!

On a plate, put in some garlic fried rice, longganisa, and eggs. Add in slices of tomatoes to keep the meal balanced, then serve!

CHAMPORADO

And if you want to start your day with a breakfast that is sweet and decadent, try making classic Champorado! This is a Filipino breakfast classic that is loved by everyone—young and old alike. It is creamy chocolate rice porridge that’s usually served with swirls of milk on top. It tastes as good as it sounds, we promise!

In a pot, boil some water. Add in your malagkit rice and allow it to cook for a couple of minutes. While that’s cooking, grab a bowl and mix PROTTIE® Soymilk Drink Mix (Chocolate) and Cocoa powder. Add this mixture into the pot and allow it to simmer. Add some sugar until it’s thickened. Remember to stir occasionally so no lumps would form.

PORK TAPA WITH TOMATOES

Start by marinating your pork for no less than an hour in a mixture of water, vinegar, soy sauce, pepper, and SARSAYA® Oyster Sauce. When that’s all good, we can start with the cooking!

In a pan, saut é your garlic, onion and your marinated pork until it’s well cooked. Next, pour in the marinade mixture and allow it to simmer down and thicken. This will give the pork tapa a nice sweet glaze. Serve it with rice, slices of tomatoes, and a fruit of your choice for a nakakabusog na almusal!

HEALTHY RICE PORRIDGE

Now that it’s December, mornings are colder and breezier. For breakfast, try making a warm bowl of creamy rice porridge! Healthy na, lakas pang maka-comfort sa malamig na umaga!

Before cooking, prepare the mushrooms first. In ¼ cup of hot water, let your blackwood ear mushroom sit for about 15 minutes. While we let that rehydrate, get a pan and fry your tofu until golden brown, then add in your dried anchovies. When it’s all cooked, drain the excess oil and set aside. In the same pan, saut é your garlic, onion, ginger, and carrots. Add in your rice and s auté for 30 seconds. Once it’s all fragrant, pour in some water and stir continuously until rice is cooked.
