AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami SeasoningIngredients
- 1 1/2 cup (250g) Rice Flour
- 2 cups (400ml) Coconut Milk
- 1 1/3 cup (150g) All purpose flour
- 1/2 Tbsp. (25g) Baking Powder
- 3 pcs. (150ml) Eggs, beaten
- 3 1/2 Tbsps. (50ml) Butter (unsalted), melted
- 2 cups (400g) Sugar, white
- 1 1/3 cup (200g) Cheese, grated **Toppings
- 1 pack (11g) AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
- 2 pcs. (124g) Salted Eggs, quartered **Toppings
Procedure
- PRE-HEAT. Pre-heat the oven at 400°F.
- MIX. In a large bowl, mix rice flour, coconut milk, all-purpose flour, baking powder, eggs, butter, sugar, cheese, and AJI-NO-MOTO®.
- PREPARE. Line preferred round baking pan with a banana leaf or foil. If using foil, grease the foil with butter. Transfer the mixture onto the pan. Top with salted egg. (Optional: Top with grated cheese)
- BAKE. Bake the mixture at pre-heated oven (400°F) for 20-25 mins.
- SERVE. Remove from oven and slice to serve. (Optional: Top with more cheese as desired.)
Cooking Tips
For a sweet twist, sprinkle brown sugar or coconut sugar for a caramelized finish. Prefer savory? Top it with crispy bacon bits or chorizo for an irresistible flavor upgrade!
