Ground Pork Omurice

AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning

Ingredients

Rice Mixture:
  • 1 Tbsp. (15ml) Vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup (25g) Onion, minced
  • 1/4 cup (25g) Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup (120g) Ground pork
  • 1/2 cup (50g) Carrots, small diced
  • 1/4 tsp. (0.6g) Ground black pepper
  • 2 cups (320g) Rice, cooked
  • 1 tsp. (5ml) Soy sauce
  • 1/2 pack (5.5g) AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
Egg Mixture:
  • 3 pcs. (135g) Eggs, small, beaten
  • 1/8 tsp. (0.3g) Ground black pepper
  • 1/4 pack (2.8g) AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
  • 1/8 tsp. (0.6g) Iodized salt
  • 1 Tbsp. (15ml) Vegetable oil

Procedure

  1. SAUTÉ. To prepare egg mixture, heat oil in a pan. Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant. Add ground pork then cook until brown. Add carrots, black pepper, and rice. Cook for 1 minute.
  2. SEASON. Add soy sauce and AJI-NO-MOTO®. Mix well then set aside.
  3. MIX. To prepare egg mixture, combine egg, black pepper, AJI-NO-MOTO® and salt in a bowl.
  4. FRY. In a separate pan, heat oil. Pour the egg mixture and make a thin egg sheet. Remove from the pan.
  5. ASSEMBLE & SERVE. Place rice at the center of the egg sheet. Fold and wrap the filling. Serve and enjoy.

Cooking Tips

Cook eggs over medium-low heat so that you can make a nice, fluffy, yellow egg-pancake.
