AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning


For the Pasta Chips:
  • 3 cups (750ml) Oil
  • 1/2 kilo (500g) Lasagna Sheets boiled, cut into triangles
  • 1/4 cup (50g) Parmesan, grated
  • 1/2 pack (5g) AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp. (1g) Salt, iodized
For the Dip:
  • 1 Tbsp. (15g) Butter, unsalted
  • 2 Tbsps. (20g) All-Purpose flour
  • 1 cup (230ml) Milk
  • 1/4 tsp. (1g) Salt, iodized
  • 1/8 tsp. (0.2g) Nutmeg (optional)


  1. DEEP-FRY. In a pan, heat oil. Deep-fry the lasagna sheets until golden and crispy. Drain excess oil using strainer or colander.
  2. COAT. While hot, immediately add parmesan, AJI-NO-MOTO®, and salt. Toss to coat well. Set aside.
  3. SIMMER. To prepare the dip, melt butter in a pan. Mix in flour then slowly pour in milk. Add salt and nutmeg(optional). Mix well.
  4. SERVE. Transfer pasta chips to a serving platter. Serve with the creamy dip. Enjoy!

Cooking Tips

You may use an air fryer to avoid too much fat absorption on the dish.
