Tuna Omelette

AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning


  • 2 Tbsps. (30ml) Cooking Oil
  • 1/4 cup (33.3g) White Onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup (30g) Garlic, chopped
  • 2 cans (250g) Canned Tuna, drained, chopped
  • 5 pcs. (309g) Eggs, beaten
  • 1/8 tsp. (0.75g) Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/4 pack (2.5g) AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
  • 2 Tbsps. (30ml) Cooking Oil
  • 1/4 cup (15g) Spring Onion, chopped (optional)


  1. SAUTÈ. In a pan, heat oil. Sauté onions and garlic until soft. Add tuna and let it cook until done. Set aside.
  2. SEASON. In a bowl, add eggs, pepper and AJI-NO-MOTO®. Mix well using a fork.
  3. PAN-FRY. In a pan, heat oil. Pour the eggs and let cook until center is almost firm. Add the tuna on the center of the egg and carefully fold both sides, enclosing the tuna in the middle. Turn off the heat.
  4. SERVE. Transfer omelette to a plate. Garnish with spring onion (optional). Serve and enjoy while hot.

Cooking Tips

You may turn off the heat once the eggs are firm to avoid them from getting overcooked.
