Crispy Fry® Batter Mix

Ingredients

  • 6 pcs. (300g) Eggs, hard-boiled
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) Water
  • 1 Tbsp. (10g) Annatto powder
  • 1 pack (160g) Crispy Fry® Batter Mix

Procedure

  1. DREDGE. Sort batter mix into two bowls and follow instructions on the packaging. Add annatto powder onto the wet batter. Then coat all of the hard-boiled eggs with Crispy Fry® Batter Mix.
  2. FRY. In a deep pan, heat oil and fry tokneneng until browned.
  3. SERVE. Transfer onto serving plate and enjoy! (Can be served with vinegar, onions and chilis)

Cooking Tips

Annatto powder can be substituted with orange food coloring.
