Prepare the sweet chili sauce first by combining red bell pepper, red chili flakes, white onion, garlic, salt, sugar, annatto powder, cornstarch, vinegar, and water in a saucepan. To prepare the fried tilapia, season it with salt and AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning, this will enhance the flavor of the fish by making it more umami-licious. Let it sit for at least 5 minutes.

Next, dredge the tilapia fillet with cornstarch. In a pan with heated oil, pan-fry the tilapia until light brown on each side and drain excess oil using a strainer or colander. Mushroom & Chicken Oatmeal Risotto

Oats are very nutritious and a good source of beta-glucan, a soluble fiber which is known to have antitumor and anti-inflammatory effects on the body. Don’t worry, we are going to save you from that dilemma. Try this savory and nutritious recipe, Mushroom & Chicken Oatmeal Risotto!

First, heat oil in a pan. Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant, then add chicken breast and cook until light brown. Add mushrooms and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add the rolled oats, stir, then add ¼ cup of water. Let it simmer until thickened then add ¼ cup of water at a time until the rolled oats have bloomed and have fully absorbed the water, this can take up to 10 minutes. For shorter cooking time, you may replace the rolled oats with instant oats but reduce the water by 1-2 cups because instant oats are already pre-cooked.

Next, season the risotto with calamansi juice, fish sauce, and add AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning to make this dish extra savory.

Then finally, transfer the oatmeal risotto onto a plate. For extra flavor, you may add parmesan and parsley on top, serve and enjoy!

Now, let’s assemble. Mold 1/3 cup of rice into rectangle, like the ham’s shape. Struggling to shape the rice? Here’s a tip! You can use the tin can of ham for easier molding of rice.
