Let’s begin! In a bowl, combine chicken, soy sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Mix and marinate for at least 30 minutes. Chicken is perfect for dads because it is rich in protein which is essential for muscle growth and repair.

Next, splash 1 tablespoon of water to the cornstarch then mix well until small clumps are formed, then coat the chicken pieces with clumps of cornstarch, this will produce a crispy popcorn-like crust.

In a pan with heated oil, fry the chicken pieces until golden brown and crispy. Drain excess oil using a strainer or colander, then set aside. To prepare the gravy, combine CRISPY FRY® Gravy Mix and water in a sauce pan then let it simmer while constantly stirring until thickened. CRISPY FRY® Gravy has a pleasant savory taste with the perfect blend of spices that your dad will surely love!
